How It Works

1. 1) Connect to LuminAlgo:
   Set up your account and monthly subscription. Make sure to review our Disclaimer, Frequently Asked Questions, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy.
   
   
2. 2) Save Your Settings and Start Your Automation:
   From your Dashboard, choose your underlying stock, number of contracts, and trading thresholds, in easy plain language, then click 'update settings'. No coding or scripts required. Click 'start cloud computer' then follow the easy instructions to log into your cloud computer and your IBKR account. Your IBKR password is never seen by us and your funds never leave your possession. By using a cloud computer, the risk of any problems or outages due to internet/electricity/hardware/software are minimized.
   
   
3. 3) 'Set It and Forget It' Functionality:
   From your Dashboard, you may start and stop your automation throughout the day. Or you may leave your automation running from before the markets open to after the markets close for that given day. For risk management purposes, we use a 'bracket order' where you must set both a 'profit taker' price and a 'stop loss' price: your risk is always clearly defined. In addition, you are currently limited to one filled trade per market day. The all day 'set it and forget it' approach is not appropriate for everyone and users should exercise caution, as macro-economic events may change after your automation starts.
   
   
4. 4) Emergency Stop:
   From your dashboard, clicking 'stop automation' at any time will automatically terminate your IBKR login, the automation software, and your cloud computer all at once. Safe. Secure. Reliable. Alternatively, you may also log into your cloud computer at any time and from there you may log in or out of your IBKR account. Regardless, of which method you choose, you must click 'stop automation' from your dashboard to turn your automated trading off.
   
   
5. 5) Early Adopters:
   For a ***limited time only***, and subject to the Terms of Service, our early adopter clients receive a one-year price guarantee, their third month free, one year of priority customer service, and one year of priority access to new features if and when these new features arrive, which may include: expansion beyond 0DTE; additional brokerages beyond IBKR; covered puts; multi-leg strategies; programmable run times; multiple trades per day; and much more.
   
   

Note: The algorithm is optimized and tested for 0DTE covered calls, although 'naked' calls are also allowed. No coding required.
